Aruba is definitely a family island. Aruba does not even offer any advertised "couples only" resorts. Admittedly, there are two resorts which have certain towers which are "adult only", but this is far from the norm. Most resorts offer Kids Clubs and those which do, some are free of charge. All of the resorts in Aruba offer fresh water swimming pools. The Hyatt & La Cabana have waterslides. The Radisson, Holiday Inn & Playa Linda offer zero entry pools. For families with children 12 years of age and younger, One Happy Family Vacation (formerly known as One Cool Family) is an excellent summer program for families to participate in. Kids receive free accommodations, free daily breakfast, discounts and special offers on activities and attractions, as well as a free gift.
